The Meaning of the Bat Logo

A Bat totem is a symbol of the end of a way of life and the beginning of a new life. In rebirth you will find the light and come out of the darkness. It symbolizes a time of awakening, because a Bat awakens in the dark.

Picture of bat logoA Bat is also a symbol for facing one’s fears. To a bat the night is a time of potential and opportunities, so a Bat can also be a sign of opportunity that can be found in the darkness.

When the light arrives, the Bat’s work is done, and then she can relax. The Chinese character for “good luck” is the same character for “bat”. Therefore a Bat also is a symbol of good luck.

Bat’s are sensitive listeners and live in groups. It’s that kind of support we all need when we go through a divorce.
